  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, rice wine vinegar, smoked paprika, sesame oil, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce gently simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  • Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
