Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Stir mustard powder, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Now add black pepper and salt as required. Adjust to your taste preferences. For an extra flavor you can add cayenne pepper.
  • Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Stir occasionally.
  • Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency and flavor, remove it from heat and let it cool. Store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
