Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • ½ cup honey (add more to taste)
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • cup brown sugar adjust as needed
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh cilantro chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the fresh or frozen cranberries under cool water and pick out any soft or damaged ones. Add them to a medium saucepan.
  • Pour in the orange juice, then add the honey and brown sugar. Stir gently to dissolve the sweeteners before heating.
  • Mix in the orange zest, red pepper flakes, ground cinnamon, ground cumin, and a pinch of salt.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for 10–12 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the sauce cool to your desired consistency. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.
