- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar light or dark
- 2 tablespoons molasses for depth and richness
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
