Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of your favorite fruit such as peaches, pineapple, or mango, chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the ketchup, fruit preserves or jam, brown sugar or honey, apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Stir the mixture until well combined. Bring it to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low.
  • Let the sauce simmer gently for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more brown sugar or vinegar if desired.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the fruit BBQ sauce to cool slightly before serving.
  • Once cooled, transfer the sauce to a jar or airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Special Note
Feel free to adjust the sweetness and tanginess of the sauce by adding more or less brown sugar and apple cider vinegar, according to your taste preferences.
